SovMine Resourcepack is a large-scale project with which all textures in Minecraft will receive recognizable Soviet style, HD-resolution and high-quality animations. Not only blocks were replaced, but all mobs, interface, and even sounds. It is used on thematic servers and is ideal for Soviet-style maps.
Due to the high resolution and many animations, the resourcepack can significantly affect the number of FPS. For smoother and more stable operation, it is recommended to enable Smart Animations in the game (Game Settings / Graphics Settings / Performance / Smart Animations ON), as well as disable anti-aliasing. These features are only available with Optifine installed. You can also allocate more memory in the launcher settings, or lower the graphics settings and the drawing range. The TexFix mod can also be useful.
How to install SovMine resourcepack
- Make sure you have Optifine installed and working correctly.
- Download the resource pack and leave it archived.
- Launch Minecraft, go to Settings.
- In the ‘Resource Packs’ section, select ‘Open resource pack folder ’.
- The ‘resourcepacks’ folder will open, copy the archive there.
- After copying, the resourcepack will appear in the section of available packages. Click on it to move to the Selected Resource Packs section.
- Start a new game or load an old one. Textures will apear in all saves.
