XRay Ultimate texture pack will simplify the search for resources in Minecraft. It makes all textures transparent except valuable ores and spawners. Thus, you will always know in which direction to dig in order to find what you want and avoid encounters with aggressive mobs.
How to install XRay Ultimate texture pack
- Make sure you have Optifine installed and working correctly.
- Download the texture pack and leave it archived.
- Launch Minecraft, go to Settings.
- In the ‘Resource Packs’ section, select ‘Open resource pack folder.
- The ‘resourcepacks’ folder will open, copy the archive there.
- After copying, the texture pack will appear in the section of available packages. Click on it to move to the Selected Resource Packs section.
- Start a new game or load an old one. Textures will appear in all saves.
It worked but I would say not very well. It was fine at first, but when I went into the mines I discovered that the ores are so dark that they are unidentifiable, but that does also balance the overpowering advantage of x-ray hacks. I would recommend that you set brightness to “bright”.
