The official Minecraft website announced the exact release date for version 1.16. Nether Update will be available for Java and Bedrock Edition in the evening of June 23. In the meantime, almost everyone has pre-releases that fix dozens of bugs. At the moment, the last one is pre-release 8.
As you know, the new update will be almost entirely devoted to the Nether dimension: new biomes, mobs and items will appear in the game. Nether will become not only more diverse, but also suitable for continuous survival without returning to the standard dimension.
Another part of the update concerns the settings of the created worlds. The player will have the opportunity to more accurately adjust the conditions for survival, as well as import/export of ready-made presets. Interaction with datapacks will also be simplified and improved.
