Wild Update snapshots continue to delight with the amount of content. A new mob and underground structure have been added to the game this week. Of course, their features did not come as a surprise to most players, but now everyone can experience these updates in action!
Allay mob became the winner of the vote in 2021 and has the following characteristics:
- the main feature of the mob is the search for items that the player gave him;
- Allay does not create new items, but only picks them up in a certain radius;
- the player can find this mob imprisoned in pillager outposts and mansions;
- Allay loves note blocks: he will dance when they are activated, as well as bring items to the last activated block;
- after issuing the item, it can be picked up by right-clicking on the mob with empty hands.
Also in the snapshot, you can visit the Ancient City:
- only spawns in the Dark Depths biome;
- here you can find chests guarded by sculk sensors that summon Warden;
- quite valuable loot is generated in chests, including the unique Swift Sneaking enchantment, which allows you to crawl with normal speed;
- also here you can find reinforced deepslate, a new block that surpasses even obsidian in strength;
- no mobs will spawn here.
The Ancient City could already be seen from the experimental snapshot. Since that time, the structure has been significantly changed, as well as changes to the generation of loot.
