The second update of version 1.18 will be released very soon, and today the developers have added its first snapshot to the launcher – 22w03a. As usual, it fixes numerous bugs, but apart from that, a new console command has been added, which can be very useful.
In version 1.18.2, a new command will be added: placefeature. With it, players will be able to place various items such as trees, grass, etc. in the given place. First, this feature will be of interest to the creator of data packs and complex maps. Also in Minecraft, there have been such changes:
- 0-based seed is no longer a special case;
- spaces before and after the seed will now be automatically removed when generating;
- improved locate command;
- ender chests will no longer receive a special texture for Christmas.
Also, more than 40 minor bugs found by users were fixed.
