Almost immediately after the second part of the Caves & Cliffs update, version 1.18.1 was released. Its main goal was to fix security problems. Also, the developers paid attention to the optimization of the game.
List of major changes in version 1.18.1:
- fixed a critical vulnerability in multiplayer;
- fixed a bug due to which players with low internet speed could not connect to servers;
- fog is now displayed at a farther distance, which increases the viewing distance;
- fixed many bugs related to chunk rendering.
The developers recommend that you definitely update the server version to 1.18.1 not to put players at risk.
