In the 22w46a snapshot, several functions were added at once that may be useful for players. The developers added functionality to the music blocks, and also introduced console commands into the game, which will allow better control of biomes and help map creators.
The main changes of snapshot 22w46a:
- if you place the head of a mob on the music block, it will emit the sounds of this mob when the redstone signal is applied;
- the piglin’s head is added, it can also interact with the music block;
- the head of the piglin drops if the mob was killed by a charged creeper;
- Endermen, skeletons, and wither-skeletons now spawn in the Nezer only when illuminated at level 7 or lower (was 11);
- improved textures of bamboo blocks and boards;
- books in the new bookshelf can now be placed in any of the available slots;
- added telemetry (developers can now receive information about the operation of the game on users’ PCs).
Another important change was the addition of the fillbiome command. It is used to fill a certain area with the desired biome. The command has the following format:
- from – coordinates of the initial angle of the area;
- to – coordinates of the final angle;
- biome – the biome that needs to be filled with a square.
In addition, traditionally, small changes were made to the inventory of the creative mode, and many bugs were fixed.
