Reworking of the combat system in Minecraft continues. After the first snapshot, four more were released, each of which added some features, and also made changes to the balance. Developers are gradually approaching the main goal: to make the action interesting in both PvP and PvE, as well as adapt it for all types of control, including gamepads and touch screens.

In previous snapshots, many innovations were implemented that made the battles more dynamic. This time, the developers tried to make attacking tactics more relevant, so that less players went into the dead defense and tried to attack more often. For this, the damage for all types of weapons was slightly reduced, which would make the armor more effective and allow a bolder go on the attack. In addition, acceleration of regeneration during saturation was eliminated. Now the player will simply have more time before the onset of hunger.

To experience changes in the action yourself, you must perform the following sequence of actions:

  1. Download a snapshot.
  2. Unzip it into the versions folder (if you don’t know how to find it, press Ctrl + R, %appdata%/.minecraft and click OK).
  3. In the official launcher, create a new installation by choosing version ‘pending 1_15_combat-6′ for it
  4. Launch the game with this installation, the necessary files will be downloaded automatically.
  5. Create a new world, in the old saves the new system will not work.
