VoxelMap is a handy minimap for Minecraft with a whole host of useful features. It will greatly simplify the navigation in the game and allow you to quickly find the way to the right place. This version is for the Forge mod loader.
After installing VoxelMap, a small map will appear in the upper right corner, which displays the details of the relief, structure, biomes and mobs. One of their important and useful features is the automatic tagging at the place of the last death. The player can also put their own tags in any convenient place. It is possible to expand the map to full screen.
This mod is very popular, so it was released immediately under several modloaders:
- for LiteLoader (main version, for Minecraft 1.8-1.12);
- для Rift (1.13.2);
- for Fabric (1.14-1.16);
If you play version 1.7.10 or lower, then you can use an alternative option – Rei`s Minimap.
Minimap control buttons:
- Z – zooming;
- X – full screen map;
- M – markers placing;
- C – markers edit.
How to install VoxelMap mod
- Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
