If you still use the LiteLoader downloader, then the VoxelMap mod will be the best choice for adding a minimap to the game. It is quite simple to use, but it contains all the important features, including setting labels.
By installing VoxelMap, you can track your location using the convenient mini-map, which by default is located in the upper right corner. The map supports zooming, which greatly simplifies the orientation in space. At the same time, it displays not only the terrain itself, but also mobs.
This mod is very popular, so it was released immediately under several modloaders:
- for Rift (Minecraft 1.13.2);
- for Forge (1.14-1.15);
- for Fabric (1.14-1.16);
For those who still prefer version 1.7.10 or lower, there is a mod with a similar set of functions – Rei`s Minimap.
Minimap control buttons:
- Z – zooming;
- X – full screen map;
- M – markers placing;
- C – markers edit.
How to install VoxelMap mod
- Make sure you have installed LiteLoader.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
