If you followed the last mobs voting, you know that the players have chosen the glow squid as their new mob. The most impatient ones can add it to the game right now. To do this, you just need to install the Glow Squid mod. With it, a new mob will appear in the game and it will be possible to summon it using the command /summon glowsquid:glow_squid. In the future, an update is planned with which the mob will appear in the game in a natural way. The mod became less relevant after the release of the snapshot 21w03a, where the glow squid was officially added.
How to install Glow Squid mod
- Make sure you have installed Fabric Mod Loader and Fabric API.
- Additionally, you need to install Mod Menu and LambDynamicLights.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
