Today, a new Minecraft snapshot, 24w20a, has been released. This update brings several minor improvements and fixes that will be part of the 1.21 update. One of the key changes is the increased amount of Redstone Dust dropped by witches when they are killed.
Main Changes:
- Witches now always drop 4-8 units of Redstone Dust.
- Improved player attribute and effect handling.
- Updated game credits.
Sound Changes:
- Improved piston sounds by lowering volume and attenuation.
Additionally, 41 bugs have been fixed, and the handling of player attributes and effects has been enhanced. Now, custom base attributes are retained upon respawning, and active effects and modifiers persist when changing dimensions or completing the game.
