The long-awaited fallen trees have finally made their way to Java Edition, bringing the game closer to full parity with Bedrock Edition. Additionally, a new decorative plant, the Firefly Bush, now generates naturally in mangrove swamps and rarely in badlands. On the technical side, SNBT syntax for commands has been expanded, improving text component handling and fixing escape sequence issues.
New Features
Fallen trees now appear as a natural part of forests, adding more detail to the landscape. They come in four types: oak, birch, jungle, and spruce. Some fallen birch trees can be longer or shorter, and certain logs may have mushrooms or vines growing on them. These trees generate in most biomes where their standing counterparts grow, with exceptions such as meadows, bamboo jungles, rivers, and groves. In flower forests, only fallen birch trees appear, while fallen oak trees are absent.

Firefly Bushes have been added as a new environmental feature. They can now spawn naturally near water in Mangrove Swamps and, on rare occasions, in Badlands, enriching the vegetation in these regions.
