Despite the fact that the Fabric loader is perfectly optimized, but with a large number of mods, it can significantly reduce the number of FPS. In many cases, the Phosphor mod can solve this problem, which optimizes the processing of light in the game, allowing you to significantly increase performance. Without mods, FPS boost will not be very noticeable, but when you install a large number of add-ons, the difference can be impressive. This mod is definitely recommended to be used if Minecraft is slow with Twilight Forest installed (you need to use Phosphor for Forge).
How to install Phosphor mod
- Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
this BROKE my game. i moved it out of my Mods Folder, but the same glitch keeps occuring. The glitch is where, for example, if i open my Debug Menu (F3) it says: ‘Server Light: 15 Sky, 0 Block’,’Client Light: 0 Sky, 0 Block’. so i checked ALL of my video settings in OptiFine, restarted them THREE TIMES and no helpful results. the only way i can see light is if a light source is emitting some, other wise the sky is still bright, but not the blocks. please look into this!
Pretty sure you explained the problem yourself. This mod is designed to work with the fabric loader, not OptiFine. I would suggest you install the fabric loader and the fabric API, then re-add the mod and start the correct version of the game.
