NetherExpansions is a mod that adds a new dimension in the form of ice hell to Minecraft. To get into it, you need to create a portal by analogy with the one that is being built to go to the Lower World, but instead of obsidian, you need to use blocks of ice. To activate the portal, a special lighter is used, which is crafted from a regular one in combination with an ice block. The new dimension is interesting because of the presence of special ore from which weapons and armor can be created that are superior in characteristics to diamond analogues.
How to install NetherExpansions mod
- Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
