More Overlays is a helper mod that will make building and survival easier for you. It implements two functions: highlighting the boundaries of chunks and determining the places where hostile mobs spawn. By pressing the F9 button, you can switch between several modes of highlighting chunks. Green cells will show their border, and yellow stripes – their center. And when you press F7, you turn on the grid, which will show where there is not enough light to prevent mobs from spawning. If a block is highlighted in red, then skeletons, zombies, and other undead can spawn on it.
How to install More Overlays mod
- Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
