The Forestry mod adds many farming-related features. You will find many new types of trees and other interesting features. Installing this mod will add more than 30 new types of trees to the game. You can also breed new varieties by crossing existing ones. In addition, Minecraft will add new tools, types of soil, and ore. Another feature is the ability to breed bees and butterflies. Also in the villages, there will now be a new kind of inhabitants – beekeepers.
Forestry was originally an add-on for other industrial mods, such as Industrial Craft 2. At the moment, it is an independent modification, but when used with Industrial Craft or Buildcraft, it also allows you to create automatic farms, irrigation systems, and other engineering structures.
How to install Forestry mod
- Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
