The Effective mod adds only a few visual changes, but makes Minecraft more atmospheric and beautiful. Its main feature is the excellent animation of water splashes near waterfalls and when objects and mobs fall into the water. The mod also adds some sounds of nature. There is also an Effective port for Forge.
