Sophisticated Wolves is a mod that improves the taming of wolves in Minecraft and adds many features. Now your pets will be more smart and helpful.
The taming mechanism of wolves, this mod does not change. As before, you can make friends with them with the help of bones falling from skeletons. But now wolves will be found in all biomes, as well as change color depending on the place of residence.
After taming each wolf, you can add a name that will be displayed above the mob. To do this, you need to craft a tag and click on it on the pet. A special treat will appear in the game that is used to breed wolves. As with other mobs, you need to give it to two pets, after which you can wait for offspring.
Many small changes have been made to the behavior of wolves that will correct various annoying situations. The following functions were implemented:
- tanned animals will no longer burning to death, instead they will roll on the floor, trying to extinguish themselves;
- when climbing to elevations, wolves will patiently sit and wait below, now they will not cause the death of the player, pushing him from a mountain or lava;
- wolves now behave better with creepers, they warn of their approach by barking, and also flee from the explosion in a timely manner;
- Now you can cancel the attack on other mobs and players, for this you need to click anywhere with the right mouse button while holding Shift.
How to install Sophisticated Wolves mod
- Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
