If you are familiar with the situation when the desired item was lost in a large chest, then just download the Searchable Chests mod. With it, all chests, barrels and other storages will have a search bar in which you can enter the name of items. All cells that do not match the search conditions will be highlighted in red, which will allow you to find quickly the one you are looking for. Searchable Chests become even more relevant when using mods for increased storage, such as Iron Chests or Iron Barrels.
How to install Searchable Chests mod
- Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
