The Hexlands mod adds a new and rather unusual type of world generation to Minecraft. If you select it when creating a map, it will be divided into identical hexagons, each of which contains a specific biome. It looks very interesting and from a height will resemble a map in the games of the Civilization series.
How to install Hexlands mod
- Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
