Halogen combines the functions of several optimization mods at once. It takes advantage of the rendering enhancements from Sodium, improved light processing of Phosphor, and improved CPU usage from Lithium. And it all works for Forge, although all three of the original mods were created for Fabric. Although Halogen still lacks some Optifine functions, it can still improve performance and increase FPS in Minecraft several times (the result depends on the characteristics of the computer).
How to install Halogen Mod
- Make sure you have installed Minecraft Forge.
- Download the mod for your version of the game.
- Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
