Mojang has released Snapshot 25w15a, kicking off the second content drop of 2025 with exciting new features, including a tamable flying Happy Ghast, a new mob-raising system, and an experimental Locator Bar.
New Mobs & Gameplay

Happy Ghast: A massive, rideable flying mob that can carry up to 4 players. Controlled by the first rider using simple flight controls.

Ghastling: A baby version of the Happy Ghast, raised from a Dried Ghast block submerged in water for ~20 mins. Feeds on Snowballs to grow faster.

Dried Ghast Block: Found in Nether Fossils, crafted with Bone Block + 8 Ghast Tears. Submerge in water to grow a Ghastling.

Harnesses (16 colors): Crafted with leather, glass, and wool. Equip to a Happy Ghast for riding.
