The Better Foliage mod only has decorative features. It makes all the vegetation in Minecraft more beautiful and realistic. Leaves and grass are changing. algae, cacti and other plants. When the mod has only a cosmetic effect, the properties of the blocks do not change in any way. There is also a Better Foliage version for Forge.

How to install Better Foliage mod

Make sure you have installed Fabric Mod Loader and Fabric API.
Install Fabric Language Kotlin library.
Download the mod for your version of the game.
Put it in the ‘mods’ folder, which is located in the game folder.
